About Us

Our qualified early childhood educators ensure that every child feels secure, valued, comfortable and connected to those around them.

Get To Know Us

Forestville Preschool is a community-based preschool and a proud member of UnitingCare Children’s Services, the 3rd largest provider of community-based education in NSW.

We are licensed to educate 80 children per day aged 2.5 to 5 years. Our teachers are all University educated with Early Childhood Education degrees.

Children usually attend for 2 or 3 days per week. However we can accommodate the needs of our families with 2, 3, 4 and 5 day places available.

About Us

Our approach

The preschool environment is a special one and prepares children for primary school. Children are in the same class every week with the same teachers. We find that once our children reach school, they are truly ready for the structure of each day and can then focus on their learning.

We are deeply committed to inclusivity and equal access for all, and value every child as an individual. We aim to deliver a fully inclusive program where children with additional needs and disability can participate on the same basis as their peers.

Through the power of community and support for all families, we help children to unlock and reach their full potential.

for everyone

We are a community within a community, and deeply invested in the families we serve. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive and become the best they can be, which is why:

  •  We’re not for profit – all money is invested back into our service
  • We embrace inclusivity and diversity – children with additional needs and from all backgrounds, cultures and faiths are welcome
  • Our service reflects the needs and character of its unique community
